The Interdependence between Inner and Outer Peace in Modern Theological Thinking.
The external moral order is profoundly influenced by the way in which the individual and society manage the internal dimensions of the human being. Contemporary realities show that solutions for peace cannot be obtained exclusively through diplomatic or political means, but that the true solution lies in the human heart. The current global situation demonstrates that an adequate understanding of the theology of peace — which starts from within the human being – can generate authentic social stability. The integrative image of peace, understood as inner harmony and balance between truth, justice and conscience, creates the premises for the external moral order to become a natural reflection of the interior of the human being.
