About the Journal

Journal for Freedom of Conscience (Jurnalul Libertății de Conștiință) - ISSN: 2495-1757 -  it is realised by Asociatia Constiinta si Libertate, București (România). The papers represent the online variant of the journal.

The Journal for Freedom of Conscience contains the papers presented during the International Conference on Freedom of Conscience and Religion. The annual conference is organized by the Conscience and Liberty Association in collaboration with the Committee for Legal Matters, Discipline and Immunities of the Chamber of Deputies in the Romanian Parliament, in partnership with the International Religious Liberty Association (USA), The Institute for Peace Studies in Eastern Christianity (USA), Association Internationale pour la Défense de la Liberté Religieuse (Switzerland), The papers presented during the conference dwell upon the importance of freedom of conscience and religion in contemporary society, stressing the actual context of human rights. In a world increasingly lacking meaning and direction, where terrorism and disasters became a routine, social security, along with human rights and especially freedom of conscience and religion became a primordial theme in the top of scientific approaches.

The founder of the Journal of Freedom of Conscience is Dr. Nelu Burcea.
