Why is Freedom of Conscience A Foundation for Human Rights, Education, and Lasting Peace?
Freedom of conscience is fundamental to three of the most important social aspects of human existence: human rights, education and sustainable peace. The author of this work first defines the principle of freedom of conscience, and then defines this concept from the perspective of human rights, education and sustainable peace. In the second part of the work, the author approaches freedom of conscience in its continuity from Romanian folklore (ballads, creation myths and rituals) to the Romanian legal system (the 12 forms of “constitutions” in the history of the Romanian Principalities and Romania.
