Integration and protection methods in the context of the rights of the visually impaired elderly.
In recent years, a special concern and interest in the integration and protection of blind people has been observed in our society. Generally speaking, integration represents that process of active and effective insertion of the individual within everything related to the social sphere, namely: activities, groups. Visual deficiency does not only affect the mental life and social relations of the disabled person, but can also have repercussions on some aspects of the body such as the morpho-functional ones. Visual deficiency also generates a series of primary consequences, which are otherwise related to that decrease in the flow of visual information, inaccuracy and blurring of the image, difficulties
regarding the perception of images and so on.
