Human Dignity seen through the Incarnation of Christ in Karl Barth.
In this Paper I will explore the concept of human dignity in Karl Barth, in light of Crist´s incarnation. This concept is closely related to image of God in man. Considering the incarnation of the Son of God in our world, I will show, in the first place, the effects of Christ´s human nature for both the individual and then for the Church as a whole. Another touching point in my argument will be the high value God conferes to man, through the atonement that Jesus completed on our behalf. Finally I will conclude with the relation between Christ´s incarnation and the act of predestination.
