Abstract

Aspects of the Relationship between Church and State.

The subject of human rights is and always will be topical. The state, as an institution, must deal with its citizens. There is a social contract between the state and its citizens and on the basis of this contract the state must perform certain functions through which its citizens are served. The Church does not and should not deal with citizens. The  Church has a much wider sphere of involvement, namely the Church deals with people in a general way, regardless of nationality, nationality, age, gender, education, wealth, etc. Conflict has existed since the beginning of time. Conflicts are based on differences that become disturbing to others: differences of ideas, differences of religion,  differences of desires, interests that become contrary and actually generate conflict. Based on one’s world and life view, people act on conflicts.
