Human Dignity and Religious Freedom Relies on Defining Good and Evil
Dignity and freedom are two concepts defined and redefined by societies and individuals according to their points of view on sociology, morality, anthropology, religion, personal needs or preferences. In this article the author presents the concept of human dignity and religious freedom from a theological or biblical point of view, asserting that defining good and evil from a Judeo-Christian perspective is essential for the wellbeing of a society. In the first part of the article the author presents a general view on the way the society defined and threated human rights and religious freedom in the last five decades. In the second part of the article the author presents a theological argumentation for the necessity of applying a Judeo-Christian point of view in matter of human dignity and religious freedom.
