Doctrinal Integrity and Freedom of Collective Manifestation of Religion in the Virtual Space
The current restrictions imposed by governments due to the appearance and spread of the Sars Covid-19 virus have also affected religious life, with churches being forced to discover new ways of expressing religion in public, which has brought into debate issues related to religious freedom and doctrinal challenges. Is the church in a new form of religious persecution? From a legal point of view, is the religious manifestation in an online space a legitimate one? From a theological point of view, can we still talk about the church if the group of believers meets only online? The article proposes a brief analysis of both legal and doctrinal aspects related to the church, from a perspective of evangelical theology, keeping in mind the debates that
emerged in this COVID pandemic period.
