From Theocracy to Democracy and Vice-Verse.
This article aims to make an inroad into the history of democracy. The dowry that ancient Athens left to humanity is democracy. With empirical data, this study demonstrates that despite its minuses, democracy remains the best form of world government. The divine ideal is theocracy, but it remains feasible in the Kingdom of God. Why? Because God grants the right to freedom of opinion, expression and choice. A right that even He cannot repress despite His ideal of leadership.
