Interreligious dialogue as an instrument of peace and social harmony.
The Church promotes dialogue as an instrument of peace in relations with other faiths or with political authorities. The Church condemns war and any kind of fanaticism. The numerous conflicts and violent manifestations in recent years are proof of the need for cooperation between the world’s religions to establish peace. Dialogue is the only real instrument for establishing a climate of understanding and harmony. Dialogue assumes that all members of the group are equal and have the same rights of expression and action. The study aims to present the role of interreligious dialogue in building peace and respect for fellow believers of other faiths.
